  • Will the festival have a licenced bar?
Stay tuned, event organisers are working hard to deliver a community run bar at the festival precinct. This will be a fenced off area by the stage. No alcohol will be permitted outside this area and security will be monitoring the area and checking IDs.
  • Can I park in Laidley?
Parking on Friday will be no issue. There is free on street parking across the town as well as directly outside of event locations. On Saturday, parking will be limited due to road closures in place for pedestrian safety and the street parade that occurs through Laidley CBD. We recommend checking the road closure information on our website and Facebook to best prepare for the day. The festival also has shuttle buses that can take you from each location to minimise your requirement to drive and find parking. Check out our shuttle bus page for more information.
  • When can we get a program?
Our program will be released in July, you’ll be able to pick one up in many of our local businesses, Council buildings, or check it out online. Follow our Facebook page for announcements.
  • What measures are in place for lost children?
Staff located at the Information tent at the Festival Precinct will be offering wristbands to parents and guardians of children to put contact details on in case their child becomes lost. Festival staff will also be briefed on lost child policy including how to care for a lost child, how to identify parents or guardians and when to call QLD Police.
  • Can I bring my dog to the festival?
Yes! Laidley Recreational Reserve is dog friendly if they remain on leash, and you pick up after them! All of the outdoor markets are also pet-friendly (on-leash).
  • What happens if I lose and item?
If you have lost something around the Festival Precinct, head to the Information tent and chat to our staff to see if it has been handed in.
  • Where is the Information tent located?
The Information tent is located at the Laidley Recreational Reserve along the footpath, directly in front of the stage. The tent will be staffed from 5pm-10pm on Friday night for the Twilight Feast and Fest and from 9am-4pm on Saturday for the main festival event.
  • How much does the festival cost?
All council led elements of the festival are free to attend including the Twilight Feast and Fest! Some community groups ask an entry of $4, whilst others are entry by donation, so you can choose how much you would like to pay.
