TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

 

1.    All Entrants  

  • Agree to complete this entry form in an honest and factual way.

  • All entrants must conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner including the presentation of their vehicles.  No smoking of tyres or burn-outs permitted.

  • Entrants are liable for any damages to the grounds/venue

  • Each entrant is issued with credentials allowing entry for the day

  • No display of Vehicle Sponsors without expressed prior consent from Laidley Spring Festival Organisers

  • All vehicles must be in place by 8:00am.  Once vehicles are in place they must remain stationary until 1:00pm 

  • QLD Road Rules apply and will be enforced throughout the event.

  • It is the Entrants responsibility to maintain at their own cost a comprehensive vehicle insurance policy in respect of the vehicles/s against any loss or liability incurred by them or their agents
     

2.    Vehicle Presentation

  • Vehicles must be in excellent condition, including cleanliness and presentation.  

  • Participants must display their vehicles in designated areas and comply with all rules and regulations.
     

3.    Media and Photography

  • All entrants acknowledge and consent to the event organisers capturing photographs, video footage, and/or audio recordings of them and their vehicles during the Laidley Spring Festival Show ‘n’ Shine.  Such content may be used by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council and the Laidley Spring Festival for promotional, marketing, media, archival, and reporting purposes, including use in printed materials, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.

  • Entrants understand that these materials may be used without compensation and that the organisers retain all rights to the captured content.
     

4.    Bump-in and Vehicle Access

  • A member of the Laidley Spring Festival Team will contact each entrant to confirm their allocated bump-in time.

  • Vehicle access to the Show ‘n’ Shine venue will be available from 6:00am to 8:00am only.

  • No vehicles will be permitted to enter the site after 8:00am
     

5.    Display Requirements

  • All entered vehicles must remain on display until 1:00pm, or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the presentation, whichever is later.  This is to support the planned grant exit procession.
     

6.    Competition and Awards

  • Successful entrants will receive an email and posted letter with competition information.

  • All entered vehicles are eligible for the People’s Choice Award. 

  • Trophies will be awarded for:

    • People’s Choice

    • Supreme Car of the Show

    • Category Winners
       

7.    Organisers

  • Lockyer Valley Regional Council will not be held liability for any loss, theft or damage to property, motor vehicle or persons resulting from the attendance of the event

  • Lockyer Valley Regional Council have the right to deny access to any vehicle or persons into the event if they fail to comply to the event conditions of entry.

  • Decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
     

8.    Prohibited Items

  • Alcoholic refreshments

  • Illicit drugs, glass, cans, metal or drink containers

  • Any items deemed by management to be dangerous or capable of causing a public nuisance
