ST. ALBANS ANGLICAN CHURCH HALL

Ambrose Street, Laidley

Susan Dryden will showcase her ‘interiors’ oil paintings which are of quiet spaces for the viewer to step into and find peace. She also paints landscapes which are more expressive in style to reveal the layers of the natural setting. Sue has exhibited in Brisbane, Regional Qld Galleries and New Zealand. 

Helen Richards creates whimsical colourful acrylic stylised landscapes with animals in rainforest, bush and mangroves settings.  An established artist, Helen's works are in collections from Cairns to Melbourne.

Josie Birchall is a multi-award winning artist who has been exhibiting and selling artworks nationwide since 2008. Working predominately in oils but compliments this with photographic and printmaking works.

Hypatia’s House Artist Collective

151 Patrick Street, Laidley

Situated in the rustic barn at the back of the Hypatia’s House, where you can explore the world through books and objects-de-art. Stunning photographic images by Michelle Taylor Holmes from Love Thy Nature Images will have you spellbound. Robbie Greer, a self-taught artist whose drawings of landscapes and houses from a bygone era will also feature. Summerholm Studio - the mother & daughter trio all share a strong passion to create ceramics and are showcasing their work and the wonders of their favourite material- CLAY.

A social enterprise café featuring food, coffee and art - open all weekend especially for the Trail. Pauline Brennan is an emerging artist who uses mixed media to reveal landscapes, still life and abstract art.

An eclectic range of drawings, paintings, sculpture and metalwork. Elizabeth Browne has bright colourful acrylic paintings and her home and studio are full of her passion for painting in acrylic and pastel drawings. Tracey Kennedy-Shanks shows her talent with watercolours while Jen Vol lends her hand to realist pencil and pastel work as well as mixed media. Michael Shoemaker is a master sculptor in wood and stone.

‘Togetherness’ showcases student work from various high schools in the Lockyer Valley. Featuring a diverse range of artwork, viewers are asked to perceive the works through the eyes of a teenager growing up in the Lockyer Valley.

Sculptor Pippa Creamer is a sculptural artist whose work is inspired by nature and often combining wood, metal and stone. Most of her artworks incorporate relics from Australia's farming history, giving new form, life and meaning whilst respecting and preserving the patina from a life already lived.
