Quilt & Craft Expo & Courtyard Cafe

Proudly organised by the Laidley Uniting Church.

9AM - 4PM

Celebrating 40 years in 2024!

There's more than just quilting at this venue!

The Uniting Church puts on quite a welcome for the Quilt and Craft Expo. There is definitely something for everyone with the expo displaying intricate quilts and crafts throughout the Church and Hall.

Take the opportunity to take a load off and enjoy their seated Courtyard Cafe. A longtime favourite of Festival visitors, the courtyard cafe serves up coffee, tea and light refreshments.

Wander the grounds and soak in a little history with the antique motors on display, then peruse the markets stalls and grab a memento of your visit.

Coach parking is available close by. Disability parking at rear of hall.

All monies raised from entry donations to the Expo support local charity initiatives including the Laidley School Chaplaincy, Crisis care (Wesley Mission) & Laidley Hospital Auxiliary.

Quilt &Craft Displays

The display of quilts in the church will leave you speechless. Some of the quilts have been handed down through generations. You'll even find quilts created by the kids of today!

As you wander in awe, meet the families that have planned this show over the years, hear the stories and be sure to get some great photos. There is also the opportunity to purchase some truly unique items.

Courtyard Cafe

There's nothing quite like some great country cooking. With a range of freshly made sandwiches, salad boxes, hot mince rolls and of course strawberries and ice-cream. Tea and coffee is also available.

Bookings for groups and coaches welcome.

Group Bookings must be confirmed before 4 September.

The Grounds

Wander the historic church grounds and enjoy the vintage car and tractor display by Lockyer Antique Motoring Association and local craft markets.
