LICENCED BAR

Organisers have secured a community group to run the Festival Bar. This year the Laidley & Districts Netball Association are manning the bar as a fundraiser for their club.

Gather your tribe and soak up the cool festival vibes with live entertainment and cold beverages. The bar will be open during the live concert for the Friday Night Twilight Feast & Fest and during the live entertainment on Saturday.

SATURDAY - 11.00AM - 3.45PM

This is strictly an 18+ Licenced area. Security will be onsite.

Live entertainment

The MAIN STAGE comes alive on Friday night as we present the Twilight Feast & Fest.

Join us for an evening under twinkling lights with live music, food trucks and a boutique makers market as we celebrate Springtime in the Lockyer Valley. The stage program celebrates our local music scene as well as bringing new acts from across Southern Queensland. Enjoy a night of FREE entertainment and discover your new favourite band. Bring the picnic blanket and wind down the week with family and friends.

The night kicks off with the contemporary-folk melodies of local singer-songwriter Peta Pomerenke, sit back with your festival feast and enjoy the ever-entertaining antics of The Memphis Moovers as they croon the tunes of Chuck Berry, Jerry-Lee Lewis and even Elvis Presley. Then settle in as The 78 Sound will get your toes tapping as they round off the night with some high-energy country rock and roots from Brookes & Dunn, Keith Urban and The Eagles and many more.

PETA POMERENKE

5pm - 6pm

Self taught songstress Peta Pomerenke grew up on a hobby farm outside of Gatton and has been writing songs, playing guitar and singing since her youth. Peta shares an Australian sound with her original contemporary-folk songs and also covers other artists with an extensive repertoire, spanning multiple genres and music eras.

Performing for over a decade, throughout Australia and abroad, Peta's rural upbringing laid the foundation of her musical direction and Peta’s single ‘Road to Home’ is all about feeling at home in any part of the world.

Memphis movers

6.05pm - 7.45pm

The Memphis Moovers is a four to five piece, live band that will “shake, rattle and roll” audiences of all ages.

Don’t be surprised to hear the Memphis Moovers go from Carol King’s ‘Its Too Late’ to ACDC’s ‘Long Way to the Top’ to Bill Hayley’s ‘Flip Flop n Fly’ to Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’, they squeeze it all into a great evening of awesome entertainment and musicianship.

Touching on such great artists as Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Big Bopper and of course Elvis Presley.

The 78 Sound

The 78 Sound is a country, rock and roots powerhouse operating out of Queensland’s Darling Downs region.

As third generation country musicians, Ben, Clayton and Morgan are proudly carrying on the family trade. Their blood harmonies, sibling stage banter, and high energy live show have captivated audiences right across Queensland, from Boulia to Brisbane.

Drawing influence from artists the likes of Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Dragon, and The Eagles, the boys create a sound which is uniquely their own!
