Markets Galore!

This year, the Laidley Spring Festival offers a host of fabulous food vendors to tantalise your taste buds, as well as a large country market with lots of new and creative businesses attending.

Under 5's day

Open 9am - 12pm Thursday

Laidley District State School, 232 Patrick Street, Laidley

Families with children 5 years and under can explore a range of activities specifically aimed at that age group. Arts and craft, face paiting, animal nursery, music games, plus a fire truck, police care SES boat and ambulance. For the grown ups, there is information stalls and a 'Pop-up Health Clinic' with experienced health nurses. Free entry with bus drop off and pick up.

Quilt & Craft Expo

Open 9am - 4pm Thursday & Friday, 9am - 2pm Saturday

Uniting Church, Partick Street, Laidley

Entry: $5 Adults / 50c Children

You will not be disappointed when you walk through the quilt exhibition, you will be amazed at the countless hours that go into creating these masterpieces. 

While you are at the Uniting Church pop by the hall next door and visit the: 

  • Market stalls

  • Vintage car displays

  • Courtyard Cafe

  • and lots of arts and crafts on display and ready to purchase.

Lockyer Valley Artists' Exhibition

Open 9am - 4pm Thursday & Friday, 9am - 2pm Saturday

MacGregor Street, Laidley

Marvel at the masterpieces created by local artists on display at the exhibition in the Laidley Lutheran Church Hall.  

Opening night is Wednesday 11 September from 6pm. Mingle and chat with the artists and have first option to grab a bargain, and take some of the Lockyer Valley home with you.

Das Neuman Haus Museum

Open 9am - 3pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Cnr Patrick & William Street, Laidley

This historic house museum and Annie's Place Coffee Shoppe is open from 9am each, offering free museum entry and a special pancake menu. Markets and music on Friday and Saturay. Plus the Ghost Tour on Saturday night!

Laidley Pioneer Village & Museum

Open 8am - 3pm each day

Cnr Pioneer & Drayton Street, Laidley

Step back in time as you amble through the Butcher Shop, school house and the famous slab hut. Morning tea and lunch available for purchase along with tea and coffee. Entry is by donation. Shuttle bus stops outside.

Spring Gem Show

Open 9am - 4pm Thursday & Friday, 9am - 2pm Saturday

114 Patrick Street, Laidley

The Gatton Lapidary Club celebrates 50 years! Enjoy the displays, jewellery, storyboards about the Lockyer Valley underground and rock formations, plus lots for the kids to do. The grown ups can enjoy a cuppa while the kids fossick, learn and create. It's all FREE.

Spring Orchid Show, Botanical Cafe and floral display

Open 9am - 4pm Thursday & Friday, 9am - 2pm Saturday

Laidley Cultural Centre, Laidley-Plainland Road, Laidley

(Venue entry is free, entry to orchid show $3/adult, U12 & wheelchairs free)

As it's the first Spring Festival stop as you drive into Laidley you must visit the Laidley Cultural Centre which will be packed to the rafters with spring-time fun.
