Get some tips and tricks on keeping orchids
The Lockyer Valley Orchid Society promotes good fellowship among all people interested in Orchid Culture and in horticulture: to further the knowledge and advancement of all that pertains to orchids, particularly their natural history, cultivation and hybridisation, and the dissemination of such knowledge; to carry out research and educational activities into all aspects of the Orchidaceae; to assist Government in preventing the destruction of our native flora and to conserve by cultivation, species threatened with extinction by land development.
Lockyer Valley Orchid Society Inc meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month from February to November (September meeting is held at Laidley Cultural Centre in conjunction with the Spring Show). 7.30pm at Sports Centre, Spencer Street Gatton (room under grandstand) 7pm for tabling plants.
