Gatton Lapidary Club members cut and polish a great variety of semi-precious stones and hold a wealth of knowledge about the rocks, gems and fossils found in the Lockyer Valley. Discover an amazing display of handcrafted lapidary items, including cabochons and tumbled stones set in jewellery as well as polished agates, thundereggs and rocks showing a range of colours and intricate patterns. Select a festival memento from the range of jewellery and gifts to take home with you. The kids will enjoy the fossicking pit, looking through the rocks and taking home some little treasures. ​For those interested in the geology of the Lockyer Valley, on display will be a variety of posters, specimens, a 3D model and a booklet showing what rocks are found in the valley and a brief outline of their geological history. ​​Shuttle available to the door
