st saviour's Anglican Church, laidley

28 Ambrose St, Laidley QLD 4341

The Laidley Anglican Church is 110 years old this year!

The Foundation stone was laid on 15 November 1909 by the Archdeacon of Toowoomba A.R. Rivers.

The Church is an example of Gothic architecture and possibly the first church in Australia to be constructed with reinforced cement.

The church celebrated its centenary in 2010.

The Laidley Anglican Church is open for tours of their beautiful historic building from 10am-2pm Saturday 12 September 2020.
Redeemer Lutheran Church, laidley

7 MacGregor St, Laidley QLD 4341

The Laidley Redeemer Lutheran Church serves the Laidley community, engaging and encouraging others through a life-changing journey.

Opened in May 1978, the Foundation stone was laid in November 1977.

All are looking forward to the 2021 Festival so they can once again fill the church with spectacular floral displays, lovingly created by a select few members of the congregation.

The colours and fragrance, paired with the craft and plant stalls, and a free cuppa make this church one of the usual festival highlights!
